Space Car
UNCSA

Design and Model Construction

In this project, I set out to create a space car that spoke to who the owner was without ever showing the character themselves. I started by sketching out an initial concept vehicle heavily influenced by the 1950’s retro space age feel. Once I had the concept refined to my liking I began construction and scenic work. The goal was to turn this unique space car even more personal, to create something that an aspiring teenage artist on a distant planet might have purchased at a major discount. From rusting and chipping paint, to the hanging dice and bumper stickers, this space car has a story to tell. This project challenged my hands on creation skills, and I loved it.

❤️ Features I love

I created a tiny suitcase, custom drawings of alien ladies, and classic bumper stickers with a unique space age twist.
